World Equestrian Games exhibit in Second Life

World Equestrian Games Exhibit

The virtual Young Library exhibit space on the University of Kentucky’s Second Life island is hosting an exhibit on the 2010 World Equestrian Games, being held in “real life” in Lexington, KY this fall.  The exhibit includes information about the games as well as some landmarks to equine locations in Second Life.  This exhibit makes use of the shared media feature in the new Second Life viewer.  We are incorporating live web views to let you interact with the WEG event schedule and view local web cams at the WEG venue.  If you visit the exhibit and you are not using SL Viewer 2, you can still access the content using alternate exhibit objects.  But we hope visitors will take advantage of the opportunity to share the experience of viewing these objects with others.  If you are not able to travel to Lexington for the games, please visit us in Second Life!
